Shipping Policy — Torngat Treasures

At Torngat Treasures, every order is carefully handmade, packaged, and prepared with attention to detail. Please review the shipping terms below before placing your order.


1. Processing Times

All orders require processing time before shipping.

  • Standard processing time: 3–10 business days
  • Custom or made-to-order items: 7–21 business days
  • During high-volume periods (markets, holidays), processing times may be longer

Processing time refers to preparation only, not shipping transit time.

You will receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped.


2. Shipping Methods & Carriers

We ship using trusted carriers such as Canada Post and other regional delivery services depending on location and package size.

Available shipping options may include:

  • Standard shipping (tracked where available)
  • Expedited shipping (if selected at checkout)
  • Local pickup or delivery (if offered)

Shipping options and costs are calculated at checkout.


3. Shipping Locations

We currently ship:

  • Within Canada
  • To select international destinations (if enabled in-store settings)

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees required by their country.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.


4. Shipping Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.

We are not responsible for:

  • Packages shipped to incorrect addresses entered at checkout
  • Delays or loss due to incomplete address details
  • Additional costs required to reship returned packages

If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for reshipping costs.


5. Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times after shipping:

  • Within Canada: 2–10 business days
  • International: 7–30 business days (varies by country)

These are estimates only. Actual delivery times may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or customs processing.


6. Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages

Once a package has been handed over to the shipping carrier, responsibility transfers to the carrier.

We are not responsible for:

  • Lost packages marked as delivered
  • Stolen packages after delivery
  • Carrier delays or disruptions

If your package is lost or missing:

  • Please contact the carrier first
  • Then contact us so we can assist where possible

We do not guarantee replacements or refunds for lost or stolen shipments.


7. Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • Include photos of the item and packaging

We will review the issue and may offer a replacement or store credit at our discretion.


8. Packaging

We aim to package all items securely and with care, using materials appropriate for handmade and fragile goods.

Where possible, we use eco-conscious packaging materials.


9. Tracking Information

When tracking is available, you will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships.

Some small shipments may not include tracking depending on shipping method selected.


10. Order Changes & Cancellations

Orders may only be changed or cancelled within 24 hours of purchase, as long as they have not entered processing.

After this window, we cannot guarantee modifications.
